 The CORRECT name of our breed is simply "BULLDOG".Most people know the Bulldog as "English Bulldog" or "British Bulldog", however the ONLY Bulldog breeds recognised by the Kennel Club are the Bulldog and the French Bulldog. In Recent years other breeds have been developed, known under names like " American Bulldog", "Olde English bulldogge" or "Regency Bulldogs". These breeds ARE NOT the same as the Bulldog and ARE NOT recognised by the Kennel Club. |
